Terror Victim Hotline
Did you ever wonder what happens to families stricken by acts of terror the day after the attack and the headline news? In the trauma and confusion, who is there to help them? How do they arrange for the best medical care for their loved ones? How is a funeral arranged? How can the memories of their departed be honored in the most meaningful way? What rights do they have from government agencies as families stricken by terror? Who is there to turn to about recurring nightmares, depression, feelings of helplessness and rage, not to mention problems of disability, unemployment, and marital friction.
In order to serve the needs of Israeli families victimized by acts of terror, the Terror Victims Association is initiating a round-the-clock emergency hotline. The hotline will be manned by social workers, psychologists, and health care professionals who are donating their time. Additionally, terror victims themselves will man the lines after receiving a special counselor-training program.
Volunteers and funding are urgently needed to make this important project a success. We call upon you to donate your time, your professional knowledge, and your
generous contributions
to help families whose lives have been shattered by terror.
